Lola Snow tagged me, and of course I’m not one to ever resist an opportunity to talk about myself.

1. Do you like blue cheese salad dressing?
I’m not a big fan of dressings with my food, and blue cheese automatically makes my mind scream, “MOULD!”…so, no.

2. Favorite late night snack?
Toast. Or cereal. Or anything breakfasty.

3. Do you own a gun?
Nope…even if they weren’t illegal here, I still wouldn’t own one.

4. What’s your favorite drink at Starbucks or other specialty coffee shop?
I’ll normally have a latte, but occasionally I treat myself to a strawberries and cream frappucino.

5. Do you get nervous before doctor appointments?
Yeah. Receptions, waiting rooms and…whatever the room’s called where you see the doctor all turn me into a bumbling, apologetic fool.
6. What do you think of hot dogs?
Hmmm…sausage+bread is a winning combination, but I don’t like those special hot dog sausages.
7. Favorite Christmas song?
‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen’. Mostly I like singing the “comfort and joy” bit.

8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning?
Milk, or tea.

9. Can you do push-ups?
No. Maybe one, on a good day.

10. What’s your favorite piece of jewellery?
The necklace that my parents bought for me in Greece.

11. Favorite hobby?
Erm, reading. Or listening to music. Or, sometimes, socialising. But mostly, staring at things.

12. Do you have A.D.D.?
Nope.

13. What’s one trait that you hate about yourself?
Pedantry.

14. The last disease you contracted?
A cold. Unless ’surprising post-night-out vomiting’ counts as a disease?

Milk, tea, water.

17. Current worry right now?
My mother’s health, my coursework and the fact that one of my flatmates (quietly, sneakily) hates me.

Hegel and all his works.

19. Favorite place to be?
Either on my own, snuggled up with the internet and a good book, or anywhere where there are people with whom I feel comfortable and happy.

20. How did you ring in the New Year?
My friend had a house party. There was vodka, snacks, laughter, frivolity and a broken radiator.

21. Like to travel?
It depends where. I like to see new places, but hot weather makes me really grumpy.

22. Name three people who will complete Sunday Stealing this week:
I don’t know what Sunday Stealing is. In my world, Sundays hardly exist anyway, so it wouldn’t exactly be hard.

23. Do you own slippers?
Yes, but I hardly wear them. I love having cold feet.

24. What color shirt are you wearing?
It’s white, with black skulls and crossbones. Not in a threatening way, I hope.

25. Do you like sleeping on satin sheets?
I never have.

26. Can you whistle?
My friends mock my puny whistle. Yes, I can make a sound. But that’s about it, I have no control over its pitch or volume.

27. Favorite singer/band?
This is far, far too hard. Currently I can’t stop listening to Emmy the Great.

28. Could you ever make it 39 days on the show Survivor?
I’ve never seen it, but I’m going to presume not.

29. What songs do you sing in the shower?
I don’t, really. I can’t sing, and trying to is embarrassing even in the shower.

30. Favorite girl’s names?
I don’t know. I don’t really think about names much.

32. What’s in your pocket right now?
Keys.

33. Last thing that made you laugh?
My friend and I were watching clips of Harry Hill on the internet.

I don’t have a job.

36. Do you love where you live?
Where I live is beautiful, and I will also always have a huge soft spot for where I’m from. It’s basically a shithole, but I’ve got a lot of happy memories associated with it.

37. How many TVs do you have in your house?
I live in a building which has several flats in it, and I have no idea how many TVs there are in the building. In the flat, there are probably about 5.

38. Who is your loudest friend?
Me.

39. Do you drive the speed limit or speed?
I don’t (and can’t) drive.

40. Does someone have a crush on you?
I can dream.

41. What is your favorite book?
I could write pages and pages on this. It depends on how I’m feeling and what’s going on in my life and what I want to read about.

42. What is your favorite candy?
I like all sweet things.

43. Favorite Sports Team?
The underdog.

44. What were you doing 12 AM last night?
Lazing around, trying not to move in case my hangover came back to haunt me.

45. What was the first thing you thought of when you woke up today?
“Why do I insist on waking up ridiculously early, even when it’s a Saturday and as such lie-ins are practically compulsory?”
